Frequently Asked Questions:

How do I book?

      • Really simple – just get in touch and we can find a date and time that suits.
Before you call or email it’s really helpful if you have:
      • Thought of a few dates and times that suit you and your family – sessions are available most days with enough advance notice. I often advertise upcoming availability on the Enquire page but if none of those suit, please get in touch and I’ll see what I can do.
      • If you can, it’s great to go for a Golden Hour session – just after dawn or just before dusk – as the light is usually at it’s best then.  The timings for this will obviously change throughout the seasons and may not suit you. Don’t worry if later morning or earlier in the afternoon is preferable, we can make that work for sure!

How do I pay?

      • Once we’ve arranged your photography experience and agreed on the best date, I will send you an invoice with the booking contract which will outline the deposit due and the payment schedule.
      • I accept payment via bank transfer (UK bank) or Paypal (there is a small additional admin fee of £4.00 for payments via Paypal).

Bookings are not confirmed until deposits have been received.

 

What are your current prices?

      • You can find my current prices for photography experiences on the following pages
      • The A La Carte Prices for eco-friendly prints and other items will be added very soon.

 

Do you offer Mini Sessions?

      • For the uninitiated, mini sessions are shorter photography experiences at a reduced price and a set location. You usually receive around five fully edited digital images from these sessions but each session is a little different.
      • I offer them seasonally with different themes.  You can see the any upcoming Mini Sessions on the Enquire page.

 

Can I buy Gift Vouchers?

      • Of course! If you’re buying a portrait session as a gift please let me know and I can arrange a gift voucher to be sent to you. These are available as e-vouchers. Give the lucky person their lovely gift and Voila! Your awesome gift selection is done. Your loved one can get in touch to arrange their personalised photography session. They usually have between 6 months and a year to do this depending on the type of voucher you bought them.

 

I’ve booked a portrait photography session and would like to order more prints. How much are they?

      • Please have a look at the current A La Cart price-list for people who have had a photography experience with Mei Photography. If there’s a different size of print or canvas you would like please just ask and I’ll see what I can do. Please note that prices will be charged at the rate as shown on my website.

 

I’ve lost my digital files! Can you help?

      • Oh no! If this happens, please get in touch and I will see what I can do for you. I only store images for a year from the photography experience date. However, I do sometimes keep things a little longer for various reasons so you might be in luck.

Please, please back-up all your images at least once, preferably twice on different hard-drives or cloud storage. The idea of you losing those beautiful moment genuinely makes me clench my teeth with stress!
